The Russian Federation is one of the largest countries in the world. Its territory lies in the eastern part of Europe and the northern part of Asia. Russia is washed by three oceans and twelve seas. Russia borders on many countries, such as Mongolia, China, Finland, Norway and others. Russian landscape is different: from forests to deserts, from high mountains to deep valleys. The longest river in Russia are: the Volga, the Ob, the Lena. The largest lake are Ladoga and Baikal.
