what do you remember about the discoverer of america?
Columbus, discoverer of America can be called with reservations, because in the Middle Ages in North America there were Europeans in the face of Icelandic Vikings (see Vinland). Because outside Scandinavia information about these campaigns was not, it was the expedition of Columbus first made information about the lands to the west in the public domain and started the colonization of the Americas by Europeans.
