3. Alf said That they had not arrived the day before.
4. Mother asks Jane if she liked the tomato soup.
5. Nelly asked Nick if he had seen Mark the previous Friday.

7. Nick asks Bob to explain it to him.
8. Billy asked the boys not to laugh at that story.
